Are agents employed as ICA, police or officers from government agencies? Is it adequate for agents to be performing in this role when the so called specific and clear guidelines are very vague? And most importantly, agents are not trained and paid for such a sensitive role? Which government agency and where are the people who are paid to do such job?

Agents are independant contractors. Agents’ income has been “cut”, with no specific policies to protect agents’ income but only grey guidelines. Yet, agents have to be penalised if money launderers get through loopholes and escape. Should this be landed on agents’ shoulders? There are a few layers of screening from more adequate parties before this matter becomes an issue. So why and how has such sensitive matter ended up in agents’ territory and become agents’ responsibility? Of course, there are also some black sheeps among agents who will take advantage of such situation for their benefits.
